Arrow Season 5's Comic-Con trailer sees Oliver recruit his new team

Arrow Season 5 isn't that far off, and The CW premiered the new trailer at this year's Comic-Con. Check it out below...

OK, we're going to have to say it, Arrow Season 4 was a bit rubbish. It's a shame because we love Arrow and the first few seasons were really quite decent. Stephen Amell is a good Oliver Queen, if not a little moody, and the show had some memorable moments. Unfortunately, the third and fourth seasons were not as strong as the previous two, but we still have faith that Season 5 can turn the tide. The CW had a pretty big presence at this year's Comic-Con. Along with a preview for Arrow Season 5, we got to see The Flash's kick ass trailer for Season 3, which we are really excited about. Check out Arrow Season 5's trailer below, which sees Oliver Queen try to put a new team together.

A new team, and hopefully a new beginning for Arrow. Despite having a strong villain in Damien Darhk in Season 4, Arrow is in desperate need of a shake up, and by bringing in new blood the show's writers and producers will be hoping to rejuvenate the series somewhat. Despite starting to turn up in some big Hollywood movies, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Stephen Amell still seems to be very passionate about his DC Comics TV show. He's even spoken about his desire to play Arrow in the DCEU. However, DC Films, unlike Marvel, has decided to keep the TV and cinematic worlds separate. Casting Ezra Miller as The Flash in Justice League is evidence of this, despite having a perfectly good Flash in Grant Gustin. Arrow Season 5 premieres on October 4th. Are you looking forward to seeing Ollie's new team?
