Have you ever wished to see Deadpool trading wisecracks with Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War? If so, you're in luck because somebody has made the crossover happen in this hilarious fan-made video
Captain America: Civil War is an iconic Marvel film. Not because it was the first Marvel movie to make $1 billion in 2016, and not even because it adapts the Civil War storyline from the comics! Civil War saw Tom Holland debut as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which was a momentous occasion because previously Spidey wasn't allowed to appear since Sony held the Spider-Man film rights, just like how 20th Century Fox owns the film rights to X-Men. Now Tom Holland has his own Spider-Man standalone film coming out next year, and while this is great news, his number one fan still hasn't crossed over to the MCU yet. We are of course talking about Deadpool, who is currently owned by 20th Century Fox. Seeking to rectify this, YouTube user Zach Ace edited Deadpool into a scene from Captain America: Civil War, check it out below!
The plot synopsis for Captain America: Civil War is as follows: "Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability." And if you haven't heard, a new superhero will be joining the Avengers in the aftermath of Civil War, as Brie Larson has been confirmed as Captain Marvel!
