Fifty Shades Darker is set to get hearts racing and its producer Dana Brunetti has nothing but kind words for everyone who worked on the bringing the sequels to life, and prepares us for a some fun...

The trailer for Fifty Shades Darker took the world by storm, and even knocked Star Wars: The Force Awakens off the top spot as the most viewed trailer within the first 24 hours of its release. The reaction was more than anyone working on the movie could have asked for, except for maybe its producer Dana Brunetti, who never once underestimated the fans of the franchise. Speaking to Vanity Fair about the trailer's astronomical success he exclaimed, “The fans are ravenous, so I knew it would do well and get a lot of views. But 114 million and counting?” The Fifty Shades of Grey trailer racked up 80 million views after two years within its release, so there's no wonder that these numbers have given the producers a very pleasant surprise.

Before working on the Fifty Shades franchise, Brunetti worked with James Foley, the sequels' director on the critically acclaimed Netflix original series, House of Cards. On the way in which Foley tackled taking over the making of the films from Sam Taylor-Johnson, Brunetti dished: “James Foley has done an amazing job. We shot both [Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed] at the same time. He shot most episodes of House of Cards, and we do most of those at the same time, so I think people are going to be able to view the movie the same way they might a show like House of Cards. It’s going to be a lot of fun.” House of Cards equally saw a man and a women at its core, and we can't wait to see how Foley will interpret Christian and Ana.
