It's been too long since we've seen Bella Ramsey as Lady Lyanna Mormont, but she's back in action on the set of Game of Thrones Season 7, and she means business!
Bella Ramsey captured our hearts as the young Lyanna Mormont when she offered Jon Snow her army in the Battle of the Bastards and named him King of the North when they had retaken Winterfell. Her rousing speech stood out in the epic and action-packed Season 6 finale, and now she's back in action on the set of Season 7. We had our first clue that she was back with the pack as Kristofer Hivju, who plays the lovable Tormund, gave high praise to Bella Ramsey in an Instagram post. After a few days of silence, we see her again stepping out of the costume trailer and making her way onto set. PAP4U posted the below photos onto their Twitter page, taken at the Corbet Studio in Northern Island, and Lyanna's outfit is vastly different to the dress and cape she wore in Season 6, so we here at melty are wondering if she may be preparing for battle.
We recently saw Jon Snow, Brienne and Davos in some behind-the-scenes shots of Game of Thrones Season 7, and it seems as though this shot of Ramsey was was taken on the same day. What exactly these actors could be filming is of course anyone's guess. However, we have yet to see a picture of Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark with the group and we're just hoping that she hasn't jumped ship and run off to King's Landing with Petyr Baelish. There's no question that Jon needs to give his sister the recognition she deserves, but there's also the possibility that Jon could discover the truth that he is a true-born Stark and Targaryen, meaning that he and Sansa are cousins which will hopefully see her reservations about him melt away. In the meantime, let's all just gaze at Bella Ramsey looking like a total badass. What do you think the future holds for Lyanna Mormont?
