Game of Thrones Season 7, there's no love lost between Jon Snow and Theon Greyjoy

Theon Greyjoy is about to have a very awkward encounter

It's been a long time since Theon Greyjoy marched his soldiers into Winterfell and betrayed Robb Stark, but Jon Snow hasn't forgotten, as a recent production update on Game of Thrones Season 7 teases an awkward reunion between the two...

Do you remember back in the early days of Game of Thrones when everybody told Theon Greyjoy not to take over Winterfell and he's been paying for it ever since? Well, it seems like even as we approach Season 7, no-one has forgotten his folly, least of all Jon Snow. If you've blocked out his foolish attempt to become ruler of the North, in Season 2, let us remind you that Theon attempted to prove himself to his father by taking over Winterfell, and faking the murder of Bran and Rickon Stark. His acts of treachery earned him some one-on-one time with Ramsey Bolton, an earful from Sansa Stark and now, thanks to Daily Mail Celeb's Twitter page, it's clear that we'll see him getting a beating from Jon Snow in Season 7. However, when we last saw Theon, he had redeemed himself somewhat by joining forces with Daenerys with the help of his sister Yara, and before we knew it, they were all headed to Westeros ready to make the young Targaryen Queen of Westeros.

The cast is currently filming the upcoming season of Game of Thrones in southern Spain, which is reportedly being used to create the set of Dragonstone, the ancestral seat of house Targaryen. A recent production update saw two important houses forming a selfie-tastic alliance, which leads us to believe that Daenerys is gathering together possible allies in the Seven Kingdoms, to help with her cause to take the Iron Throne. This would explain why Jon and Theon are brought together once again after so many years, but we truly cannot wait to see Theon's face when he finds out that the boy he used to mock, and whose home he once tried to ruin, is now the King in the North. Tensions between them will hopefully die down soon, as we have word that Jon Snow was recently reunited with an old friend, who will be able to dull his troubles with a glass of wine and a good joke. Do you think Jon and Theon will be able to reconcile?
