A lot of the drama on Grey's Anatomy this season has centered about the doctors' personal lives and relationships, but Episode 8 seems to be entirely focused on a strenuous surgery.
Dr. Eliza Minnick came in like a wrecking ball in the latest installment of Grey's Anatomy, and while it seems like she will be Arizona's new love interest it doesn't look like she'll be present in Episode 8. The drama instead will be between the doctors, and to make matters worse the conflict happens right in the middle of surgery. Grey's Anatomy Season 13: Episode 7 ended with Amelia finally telling Owen that she doesn't want children, and it doesn't look like things went well for the newlyweds after that because later on Amelia showed up at Meredith's house asking to sleep there. This week the issue is between Owen and Amelia's sister-in-law, as Meredith pulls rank in the OR. The synopsis for Episode 8, titled "The Room Where It Happens", is quite vague. It reads as follows: "A difficult surgery brings back pivotal memories for Meredith, Richard, Owen and Stephanie, as they work together to save a life."
The Episode 8 spoiler photos show Webber, Owen, Meredith and Stephanie around the operating table as they perform surgery on a patient. We know from the Grey's Anatomy Episode 8 trailer that there's a power struggle going on during the operation, as Meredith disagrees with both Owen and Webber, and also reminds Richard that she out-ranks him. Ouch. Meredith's children don't appear very much on the show, but Meredith will bring them to the hospital in this episode for some reason. Zola and Bailey are seen coloring just outside the operating room in one pic, while Meredith comes to give them a hug in another. We're curious to see why Meredith brought her kids to the hospital, when she can usually manage to find a sitter for them. What do you think all the drama in the operating room is about?
