Could Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow have a cameo in Spider-Man: Homecoming? We certainly hope so!
We already know that Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark/Iron Man will be in Spider-Man: Homecoming. He'll turn up alongside Tom Holland's Peter Parker who we first saw in Captain America: Civil War. He arguably stole the show. We really loved him as Spider-Man and can't wait to see what Holland does next with the role in Homecoming. The upcoming movie, which sees Marvel and Sony work together on the Spidey film franchise for the first time, already boasts a pretty ridiculously good cast. Not only is Downey Jr. in it, but Michael Keaton's also been confirmed as Vulture. They'll also be joined by Donald Glover (who probably won't be playing Miles Morales). And it sounds like Scarlett Johansson might even make an appearance.
Well, well... hi Scarlett. What'cha doing here?— Atlanta Filming (@AtlantaFilming) July 27, 2016
Now Atlanta Filming's tweet is by no means confirmation. Actually, it's about as far from it as you can get. But it does make us wonder whether Scarlett Johansson will be turning up as Black Widow in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Atlanta Filming has shared photos from Homecoming's set before, so it seems as if Johansson was spotted on set, which doesn't necessarily mean that she's going to be in the movie. She may just be visiting friends. However, Black Widow would certainly fit in a Spider-Man movie, she is named after a spider. Joss Whedon's been very vocal about his desire to make a Black Widow solo film and Johansson has also said that she loves playing the character, so hopefully Marvel's getting closer to making the movie we all want to see. As for Homecoming, it would be great to see Johansson in it, which could feature the very best Spider-Man we've ever seen.
