Stranger Things: Eleven's coming back for Season 2

Written by

We're pretty sure Stranger Things fans will riot in the streets if Millie Bobby Brown doesn't return as Eleven in Season 2. But luckily it looks like the young actress will indeed be back on our screens!

With the success of Stranger Things' debut season due in large part to Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven there was NO way that the character wouldn't return for Season 2. The Season 1 finale ended with Eleven defeating the Demogorgon, but that of course came with a price as Eleven completely disappeared along with the monster. The finale moments of the episode however teased that Eleven is still alive, although probably not well, in the Upside Down as Hopper put some Eggos into a lock box in the forest which then disappeared.

Despite the actors and producers remaining tight-lipped when it comes to the topic of Eleven's return, fans are convinced that Millie Bobby Brown will grace our screens yet again in the highly-anticipated sophomore season. Brown is still very involved in promotional appearances and interviews for Stranger Things, and even passed out PB&J sandwiches at this years Emmy Awards with her costars Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo, in addition to performing their rendition of Uptown Funk before the show.

TVLine has now announced, via mysterious sources, that Millie Bobby Brown will reprise her role as Eleven in Season 2. This has yet to be confirmed by Netflix, the Duffer brothers, the other producers of the show, or Brown herself. However this is exactly the information that fans were hoping to hear to add fuel to the fire of Eleven's return. With Stranger Things Season 2 about to begin filming in Atlanta, hopefully there will soon be some photos of Brown on set to confirm that Eleven will indeed be back in action.

It's unclear how many episodes Eleven will appear in, if it were up to us she would feature in all nine of them! We think it's safe to say that Millie Bobby Brown will continue to be a series regular despite her character's curious situation and storyline. Joe Keery and Noah Schnapp have also been promoted to series regulars for Stranger Things Season 2, which is expected to explore more of the side effects of Will's time spent in the Upside Down. Are you excited to see Millie Bobby Brown return as Eleven in Season 2?
