A familiar face will return to The Vampire Diaries in Episode 3, while Sybil aims to have complete control over both Damon and Enzo. Check out the spoiler photos and synopsis for "You Decided That I Was Worth Saving" below
We finally know more about The Vampire Diaries' new Big Bad and it looks like her nefarious plan is only getting started. The official synopsis for Episode 3 ("You Decided That I Was Worth Saving") reads: "As Enzo continues to fight the control over him, Bonnie finds herself at the center of a deadly game and forced to make a heart wrenching decision involving two of the most important people in her life. At the Armory, Alaric researches a mysterious artifact that he hopes will help in their fight to get Damon and Enzo back. Finally, Damon’s downward spiral leads him to Tyler Lockwood who attempts to talk some sense into him before it’s too late." The Vampire Diaries Episode 3 trailer saw Sybil order Damon to kill Bonnie, so it looks like the decision she has to make is between Enzo and Damon. And we were right in thinking that we caught a peek at Tyler in the trailer, but things don't bode well for him as Damon drinks his blood.
Our friends over at Entertainment Weekly posted a first-look photo of Michael Trevino's return as Tyler Lockwood. Either Tyler got the upper hand on Damon, or Damon's playing his 'dead person in the road' trick. We think it's the latter since there doesn't appear to be any blood dripping from Tyler's neck in the pic. The Episode 3 spoiler photos also show a fight between Damon and Enzo. Now that Sybil has replaced Damon's memory of meeting Elena, Damon seems to be completely under her spell while Enzo continues to struggle for control of himself. But Sybil will continue to strive for total control over Enzo and it looks like she'll get it - either that or Enzo is convincingly playing the part.
Stefan will once again be reunited with his brother and Enzo in Episode 3, but without much progress in saving them. It might even be that Sybil has gained some control over Stefan too, as he seems to be in the process of hitting Caroline with a shovel. The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley recently dished on Steroline's Season 8 storyline. The couple got engaged at the end of Episode 2, which means that something is bound to go wrong any minute now. Are you excited to see Tyler Lockwood's return to The Vampire Diaries?
