Deadpool 2 hasn't even started shooting yet, and they're already planning Deadpool 3, which may involve the X-Force!
Deadpool proved to the world that R-rated superhero films can work. The movie made a ton of cash at the box office and people genuinely enjoyed it. Ryan Reynolds was born to play the Merc with a Mouth, and even though he was in the utterly terrible X-Men Origins: Wolverine, people wanted to see the movie that Ryan Reynolds was so desperate to give us. Turns out that it was worth the wait, and Deadpool made up for the two and a bit hours we wasted watching that atrocious Wolverine movie. However, Deadpool 2's been suffering from a bit of behind-the-scenes drama, with Tim Miller leaving the project citing "creative differences" with Ryan Reynolds as the reason behind his swift exit. But we've now heard that 20th Century Fox is already working on Deadpool 3.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Fox is very confident in their new R-rated superhero franchise, so confident in fact that they've already greenlit Deadpool 3. At first this does sound a bit like crazy talk since Deadpool 2 isn't anywhere near completion, however, in Ryan Reynolds we trust. There's also the fact that they are planning to introduce the X-Force in this third Deadpool movie, which we really want to see. Deadpool 2 is already going to introduce Cable and Domino. It makes sense that Deadpool 3 should bring in the X-Force. Tim Miller's replacement hasn't been officially announced yet, but there have been rumours suggesting that John Wick's David Leitch will step in to direct Deadpool 2. Do you want to see a Deadpool 3?
