Jon Snow is returning to Westeros! Exactly how he'll make his debut to Game of Thrones Season 6, however, is still up in the air. Arya's Maisie Williams teases a "great twist" in his fate

Guessing how Jon Snow will come back to Westeros has become a sort of Game of Thrones in itself. Will he return as an emissary of the White Walkers brought back from the dead to wreak havoc and bring winter to the guarded realm? Will this be the season when the higher mysteries are finally understood and the Kit Harrington character is brought back, Lazarus-like, from the irrevocable beyond? As the weeks go by and we approach the April 24 debut of Season 6, new information is constantly coming to light that hints Jon Snow's return as Lord Commander of the Night's Watch is not exactly what we think it might be. Now a source close to Jon Snow, both on and off screen, has teased a very different "twist" to the fate of Jon Snow, or what remaineth thereof.

Speaking from the red carpet at the London Film Critics' Circle Award, Maisie Williams, who plays Snow's halfsister Arya Stark, hinted that whatever we might think we know about the return of Snow, the HBO show will always be one step ahead of us, and, ever since George Martins revealed Winds of Winter wasn't coming so fast, ahead of the books as well. "I feel so mean," Williams tells Upcoming Magazine in the above clip. "I speak to people and they're all like, 'Jon Snow, is he back?' and it's really heartbreaking because people are like, 'yeah, but he's coming back though'. There's a great twist," the young actress continues, "but I can't say that he's going to be alive." Read between the lines and you have perhaps the greatest spoiler about the fate of Jon Snow so far. Whatever Jon Snow is, he'll be back. But in a form that is unrecognizable from his previous identity and which could alter his presence and Game of Thrones for good. Do have any idea what all this could mean?
