A new poster for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has been revealed, and Baby Groot looks adorable! Check out the image of the new team of Guardians, minus Mantis, below!

Guardians of the Galaxy 2's first teaser trailer has arrived, and boy did it get us in the mood for Marvel's space-hopping sequel! We're still waiting on that full-length trailer, but until then we have the replay button on YouTube and a brand new poster of the movie from Marvel! The poster reveals a new shot of Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Nebula, Yondu, Rocket Raccoon and Baby Groot, and they're all looking pretty friendly together. Does this mean that Yondu and Nebula will be allies to the team in the sequel, rather than enemies? Also, how much time has passed since Guardians 1? Baby Groot is still tiny and makes Rocket look ridiculously huge, so we're getting the impression that barely any time has passed since the first film.

Yondu does have a mohawk now so some time must have passed, though it could always be an artificial one that just sticks to the top of his head. So what can we expect from the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel? The story pivots around Peter Quill's decision to search for his father, and on the way we're going to see the wacky cast of characters in a whole new light. Nebula's return in the sequel is unrelated to Thanos' plans in Infinity War as far as we're aware, but given that Infinity War releases a year after Guardians of the Galaxy 2 does, we wouldn't be surprised if a reference to the Mad Titan was dropped in. What do you think of the poster?
