PlayStation Plus has announced their free-to-download titles for September 2016, and PS4 users can help themselves to a fantastic selection of games that include Journey and Lords of the Fallen.
Once more, the prophecy that Watch Dogs would appear among the PlayStation Plus titles has failed to materialise (what a shocker!), but we don't care since Sony has released an incredible line-up for the PSPlus free games this month. In what is quite possibly the best month yet, PlayStation 4 users will be receiving Journey, Lords of the Fallen and Badland as free-to-download titles. Journey has a legendary reputation among PlayStation fans for being one the best indie games released on the PS3, so you'll be in for an exciting ride! Lords of the Fallen is a single-player fantasy RPG whose combat has been compared to the Dark Souls games, though we imagine it'll likely be a little easier. Check out the official video from PlayStation below, which showcases gameplay from Journey and Lords of the Fallen.
Badland is the other free game PS4 users will be receiving this month, which is a puzzle game with both single-player and multiplayer functionality. That's not all you can get from PSPlus free games though, and if you have a PSVita or PS3, you're eligible to get even more free games. PS3 users will receive Journey, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, Datura and Badland, while Badland and Amnesia: Memories are available to download if you have a PSVita. Sony recently increased the price of PlayStation Plus last month in North America, and if that's the cost to get games like these monthly, we're all for it.
