Pretty Little Liars Season 7: Vanessa Ray teases Charlotte DiLaurentis' return!

Charlotte's murder is the reason A.D. has been tormenting the ladies in Pretty Little Liars Season 7, but is it possible that Charlotte is actually still alive? Read on for more details!

There's still ten episodes left for Pretty Little Liar's final season, and we have half a year to wait until the episodes air on our TV screens. However there is already a lot of focus on the series coming to an end. We are more than ready to find out who's under the hood and has been tormenting the Liars, however it will definitely be difficult to say goodbye to Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer. Luckily for us fans, showrunner Marlene King wants to keep the Rosewood world alive, even after the series finale, which could possibly lead to a Pretty Little Liars movie somewhere down the line. But let's not get ahead of ourselves!

We still have the what will likely be the very best ten episodes of the series, full of shocking reveals and familiar faces. Vanessa Ray, who played Charlotte, recently told Us Weekly, “I have been keeping up with the show, and you might see my face soon. I love getting to be around that crew and the lovely cast.” Charlotte will probably just appear in a flashback, but wouldn't it be awesome if Charlotte was actually still alive somehow?

Ray also speculated on the identity of Uber A. “I think it’s going to be Aria. I think like early in the early days, she just kind of had the most to lose. She was hurt the most by the antics that 'A' put her through, so that’s why I think she might be the one that’s coming back to get them all.” It would be an interesting twist if Aria turned out to be A.D. It was quite suspicious that the baddie took Aria's file, along with Noel Kahn's file - which they burned, out of Mrs. DiLaurentis' lair before the Pretty Little Liars found it.

However the fact that Ray openly points a finger at Aria, more likely means that Aria isn't A.D. Ray wouldn't want to ruin the surprise for fans, nor for showrunner Marlene King, who Ray feels single-handedly put her on the map. With Pretty Little Liars drawing to a close, Ray wants to see an explosive ending (literally) with the Liars burning Rosewood to the ground. The PLL actresses were super emotional after their last ever table read, but that's not to say that the show won't end on a badass note. How would you like to see the Pretty Little Liars series end?
